Electronics Engineer

Job DescriptionEverforth ECS is seeking an Electronics Engineer to work at Stennis Space Center, MS.This position will be supporting The National Data Buoy Center, NDBC is a part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS).NDBC designs, develops, operates, and maintains a network of data collecting buoys and coastal stations.The NDBC is located in southern Mississippi as a tenant at the John C. Stennis Space Center, a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.This role is an onsite position.Required SkillsEducation: BS Electrical Engineering.Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.2 years of experience in the design, prototype fabrication, test and debug, and production of microcontroller-based data acquisition instrumentation systems.Familiarity with analog and digital circuitry, hardware/software interface analysis, ground and satellite-linked data communications.Experience reading, understanding, and troubleshooting schematics.Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.Desired SkillsExperience creating Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).Experience leading projects, particularly Engineering projects.Experience using laboratory test equipment, such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic probes, etc.Ability to read and generally understand C and C++ code.Ability to conceptualize an entire proposed system from the ground up.Ability to integrate design concepts between Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, and other disciplines into one overall design is a plus.#EverforthECS1ECS Federal LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis any characteristic protected by law.
