Job Title: Construction Project ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Project Manager to join our leading construction company specializing in commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex construction projects and demonstrate exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.ResponsibilitiesOversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.Lead project meetings and facilitate effective communication among all project team members.Responsible for financial monitoring and settlement of projects.Supervise the executive staff to ensure qualification for performing work tasks.Manage work planning and coordination for projects to meet quality criteria.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor projects.PMP or similar certification.Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification.Experience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, take-offs.Familiarity with MS Project, Procore, Sage software.Experience with high-end, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects.Experience working on healthcare projects and/or manufacturing, clean rooms, biopharma.Work EnvironmentWork hours are from 7 am to 4 pm at work sites in Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven counties) and one site in Poughkeepsie, NY. The work will be split between the company's headquarters in Brookfield and various worksite locations.
