Lead Maximo Technical Analyst
What is the position?The Lead Maximo Support Analyst is a technical expert responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise applications, with a primary focus on the Maximo platform. This role ensures system stability, performance, and usability while troubleshooting issues, implementing improvements, and assisting business users with technical solutions. The analyst also contributes to system enhancements, documentation, and project initiatives to support operational efficiency.What are the responsibilities?As a Lead Maximo Support Analyst, you will:Oversee the performance, availability, and health of the Maximo application environment.Investigate service requests and incidents, diagnose root causes, and implement effective resolutions.Lead internal initiatives related to Maximo upgrades, improvements, and system enhancements.Collaborate with business users to address technical issues impacting operational workflows.Design and recommend technical solutions that prioritize reliability, scalability, and maintainability.Manage application backlogs and ensure incidents, requests, and updates are properly documented and tracked.Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.Assist with major incident response and contribute to long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues.Support integration efforts, reporting development, and configuration within the Maximo ecosystem.What are the requirements?Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).Hands-on experience supporting IBM Maximo implementations.Strong knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) architecture and integrations.Experience configuring Maximo applications, including Start Center customization.Ability to develop BIRT and ad-hoc reports within Maximo.Familiarity with relational databases, including scripts, triggers, and stored procedures.Experience with application development or programming languages.Background supporting COTS enterprise applications.Exposure to Maximo MAS 9.0, integration platforms such as Boomi, or transportation/logistics systems is a plus.ITIL Foundation certification and familiarity with Microsoft technologies are advantageous.Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 15%).You would be really happy here if:You excel at analyzing complex problems and developing effective solutions when challenges arise.You enjoy diving into intricate technical details and understanding how each component contributes to the bigger picture.JoCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
