Senior UI Engineer (Contract)Location: Austin, TXSchedule: Hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday onsite)Duration: 12-Month ContractEmployment Type: W-2 ContractWe're looking for a Senior UI Engineer to join a fast-paced product engineering team building modern, high-performance web applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has strong experience with Generative AI, front-end architecture, and building exceptional user experiences.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver scalable, high-quality web applications.Transform design concepts into fully functional user interfaces.Build rapid prototypes to validate new ideas and user experiences.Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.Troubleshoot and resolve JavaScript, HTML, and CSS issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive user experiences.Integrate front-end applications with backend web services.Optimize application performance and scalability.Establish reusable UI components and front-end development standards.Drive technical improvements through architectural best practices and code reviews.Required Qualifications7+ years of front-end or UI engineering experience.Strong experience with React.js.Experience designing scalable web application architecture.Hands-on experience integrating Generative AI into web applications.Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills.Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) best practices.Experience working in Agile development environments.Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and the ability to work independently.Nice to HaveExperience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).Preferred SkillsReact.jsJavaScript / HTML / CSSGenerative AIWeb Application ArchitectureAccessibility (WCAG)GitAgileAEM (Preferred)
