This position is ideal for experienced HGV Technicians, HGV Mechanics or Commercial Vehicle Technicians looking for a supportive team and ongoing training opportunities.The RoleMaintain, service and repair HGVs to ensure vehicles remain safe, compliant and roadworthy. Perform inspections, preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis both in the workshop and on the road when needed. Support team members and contribute to in-house training for trainees and apprentices.Key Responsibilities Perform major and minor repairs on HGVs Carry out inspections, preventive maintenance and servicing Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness Diagnose and plan repairs efficiently Complete service records, paperwork and warranty claims Provide mobile support to clients for emergency repairs Assist with training and development of apprentices and trainees Skills and QualificationsLevel 3 NVQ, City and Guilds or IMI in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician Ability to identify worn or faulty components in line with DVSA standards Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes Team player with a proactive approach and focus on quality and safety Benefits£19.50 per hour DOE 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Extra day off for your birthday Auto enrolment pension Access to wellness programme and EAP Manufacturer training and career developmentClick 'Apply Now' to take the next step in your HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic career.REF: 3618
