Latchkey (after school) Supervisor

Saint Patrick Catholic School in Carleton, Michigan is looking to hire a Latchkey (after school) supervisor to work as part of a team. Our program provides a safe and nurturing space for children grades K- Grade 8 who gather after school and engage in a variety of activities, including homework, and games. Extended Day staff members are responsible for coordinating activities, fostering positive relationships, and other duties as assigned.The after-school program runs afternoons from 2:45 to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.Essential functions include but are not limited to:Lead activities in assigned small group Ensure student safety during activitiesSupervise student snackKeep track of student dietary restrictions and allergiesOversee daily sign in and sign out procedures Follow safety and emergency proceduresAssist in daily cleaning and sanitization proceduresReport and significant concerns or incidents to Extended Day/Enrichment CoordinatorBasic requirements include but are not limited to:Must be 18 or olderHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in childcare, camp or similar setting CPR and First AidAdept at multitasking, self-starter and efficiently manage timeServe as a positive role model and mentorWork with students one-on-one in a kind and caring mannerAbility to work well with students and colleagues; willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Saint Patrick Catholic School community .Send resume to principal@stpatrick.school or call 734-654-2522 to make inquiry.
