You will create innovative tools and capabilities to enable continuous delivery – building, provisioning, and administering multi-tenant, scale-out applications throughout the life cycle, from development, testing and into production. You will be challenged with identifying innovative ideas and proof of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our customers. As an Infrastructure Engineer, your primary responsibilities will be to maintain a robust, efficient, effective, 24×7 service operation for the Private and Public Cloud environment and its tools. You will work closely with your US and India leaders and peers to deliver a Follow the Sun capability that is best in class in Quality and Capability at a cost-effective price point.Scope of Impact/InfluenceResponsible for the infrastructure platform and supporting technologyLeads the design, build, enhancement, and integration of infrastructure with AETPlays an integral role in building and enhancing infrastructure in terms of robustness, scalability, availability, and efficiencyLeadership accountable for team completing assigned tasks and delivery of quality workEducation & Technology core competenciesBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.Experience with 5 Years of relevant experienceUnix/Linux system administration experience extensivelyExperience in supporting and maintaining the on-prem production-grade environment in two or more like Redis (Enterprise), Kafka, Elasticsearch and Astronomer etc.Experience in supporting and maintaining the production-grade environment in Terraform or similar IAC toolExperience in supporting and maintaining the production-grade environment in Google cloud (Foundations and Managed services like PSC, Interconnect, Pub Sub, Cloud Run, Memory store etc)Experience in supporting and maintaining the production-grade environment in deploying COTS apps in K8 environments like OpenShift or GKE.Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Shell Scripts, Python/JavaCluster management, configurations, upgrades, and migrations on Red Hat Linux 8 in virtual machinesLeading big infra migrations programs from on-prem to on-prem, on-prem to Public and Hybrid clouds.Extensive experience in Linux performance monitoring by using system tools, security setup, troubleshooting and performance tuning as necessary to ensure optimum performance, patching of Linux servers on regular scheduleEager to learn new technologies in a short time spanExperience in change management, Incident management, RFC, Problem management & RCAExperience in automation to increase efficiencyOptimize and streamline troubleshooting and debugging efforts by applying expertise across the infra and app domain.Working knowledge of monitoring toolsProven diagnostic, troubleshooting, and service restoration skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and English communication skills with difficult customers in outage situations.Metrics managementOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experienceJ-18808-Ljbffr
