Production Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
The Technical Production Assistant (2nd Shift) holds significant importance in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of high-quality goods. A Technical Production Assistant is a versatile team member who possesses a diverse set of skills and is capable of working across various workstations within the production process. Their purpose lies in contributing to the overall success of the production line by maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.2nd Shift Hours: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pmTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose electrical and mechanical problems with production equipmentPerform minor electrical and mechanical repairs on production equipmentAssist Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering Services personnel as necessary with escalated issuesCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering Services, Maintenance, and VEGA Germany to resolve Manufacturing equipment problemsTrain Production personnel on proper use of tools and equipmentAccompany third party technicians when Maintenance is unavailableInternational travel, as required RequirementsHigh school Graduate or GEDAND 3 to 6 months related experience and/or trainingOR equivalent combination of education and experience.Industrial Maintenance Technician apprenticeship or equivalent from a recognized community college or trade school is preferred but not requiredVEGA Americas manufactures, distributes, and services process instrumentation to measure level, density, weight, and pressure.
