Customer Service Advisor

OverviewAs a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with customers regarding their vehicle repair needs and relaying information to our skilled Service Technicians. Your responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting them in identifying necessary repairs and associated costs, keeping abreast of Boss Shops' diverse range of services, and maintaining contact with customers about the status of their vehicle repairs. Pay Range: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. ResponsibilitiesProvide prompt and friendly customer service as you greet customers. Coordinate scheduling and workflow within the service center. Service write for the location: create estimates, work orders, finalize payments, and handle cash according to policies. Address customer inquiries about services and consult with Technicians as necessary. Utilize marketing and sales strategies to complete transactions effectively. Communicate repair needs between Technicians and customers. Remain knowledgeable about product and service offerings to meet industry demands. Ensure all customer-facing areas are clean, stocked, and current. Assist in receiving merchandise and managing showroom inventory. Understand the Boss Shop Warranty process thoroughly. Assign tasks to Technicians following company guidelines. Follow all safety policies and procedures for a secure environment. Maintain punctuality in reporting to work as scheduled. Additional Job Duties:Assist with other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities:This position does not include supervisory responsibilities. QualificationsEducation and/or Experience:Retail or customer service experience is preferred. Minimum Qualifications:Valid Driver's license and insurable to drive. Ability to maintain a working knowledge of parts inventory. Complete Service Advisor New Team Member Training within 90 days of employment. Efficient computer skills. Strong reading, writing, and math skills. A positive and enthusiastic attitude. Flexibility and adaptability to change. Excellent communication skills. Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings. Reliable transportation and phone are essential. Proficiency in English communication is required. Commitment to providing friendly and prompt customer service. Ability to work collaboratively with team members. Physical Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following physical demands.
