Job Description Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 AnnuallyDirector of Residential ServicesPosition is classified as Exempt/Full TimeSchedule: M-F 40 HoursReports to Executive DirectorWellspring Community is seeking a mission-driven, strategic leader to serve as our Director of Residential Services. This role is ideal for someone passionate about empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities while leading high-quality, person-centered residential programs. The Director will provide oversight, vision, and growth leadership for all residential services, ensuring strong operational performance, regulatory compliance, and meaningful community impact.Director of Residential ServicesThe Director of Residential Services is responsible for the leadership, oversight, and growth of all residential services at Wellspring Community. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered supports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while helping expand Wellsprings residential programs and community partnerships. The Director also serves as the designated Home Care Agency Manager for Wellsprings Class B Home Care Agency license in accordance with Colorado regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction for all residential services programsDevelop and implement strategic growth initiatives, including new homes and service modelsOversee program quality, compliance, licensing, audits, and corrective action plansManage departmental budgets, forecasting, and financial sustainability effortsLead and support Residential Services leadership staff and promote a culture of accountability and collaborationBuild relationships with community partners, referral sources, case management agencies, and state/county partnersMonitor incidents, trends, and performance data to drive continuous improvementParticipate as a member of Wellsprings leadership team and support organizational initiativesQualificationsBachelors degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or related field required (Masters preferred)710 years of experience in residential or HCBS services35 years of senior leadership or director-level experienceExperience supervising direct care staff requiredStrong knowledge of HCBS regulations, Medicaid waivers, and person-centered practices preferredDemonstrated leadership, financial management, and strategic planning skillsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilitiesAdditional RequirementsValid drivers license and ability to travel between program sitesProficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systemsAbility to meet all background and employment requirements*This posting is intended to provide a general overview of the position and is not a comprehensive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications.
