As a Business Information Services (BIS) Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading cross-functional technology initiatives that improve business processes, streamline operations, and support strategic goals.This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business operations and technology delivery. You’ll partner closely with software development teams, business stakeholders, and operational leaders to define requirements, manage projects, improve processes, and ensure solutions are delivered successfully from concept through implementation.The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with business analysis capabilities, process improvement experience, and the ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.What You’ll DoLead and manage Business Information Services projects from planning through implementation and post-launch support.Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define user needs, and translate operational challenges into technology solutions.Create and maintain process maps, workflows, and documentation using tools such as Lucidchart or similar platforms.Collaborate with software development teams to define project scope, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.Develop and manage user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria within Agile project environments.Support Agile and Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, communication, and successful execution.Participate in QA testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation efforts to ensure solutions meet business requirements.Track project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies using Jira and other project management tools.Support process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and user experience.Assist with change management, user training, documentation, and communication related to system and process updates.What You BringBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.4+ years of project management, business services, business analysis, or related experience.Experience working within Agile and Scrum software development environments.Experience partnering with software development teams on system implementations or technology projects.Strong understanding of business process mapping and workflow documentation.Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Lucidchart, Confluence, or similar platforms.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsLocated within a commutable distance to Syracuse, IN.
