Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Modern office setting Food provided Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the store. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Duties: - Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures - Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues - Supervise and train store employees, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures - Manage inventory levels and ensure products are properly stocked on the sales floor - Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and reconciling daily sales - Assist with payroll processing and scheduling of staff shifts - Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets - Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement marketing initiatives - Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new employees - Assist in training and development programs for staff members Experience: - Previous experience in shift management or store management is required - Strong background in retail sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals - Proficient in cash handling procedures and operating cash registers - Excellent mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and budgeting purposes - Familiarity with payroll processes and scheduling software is preferred - Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve company objectives - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
