Surgery - Vascular Physician

We have a client in West Texas, North of Houston, in search of a Locum, Board-Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon for ongoing coverage with a possible start in October, if credentialed. Requirements: Board CertificationState License: Highly preferred, open to IMLC w/ LOQ in hand.CV surgery Fellowship-trained.Both BLS & ACLS (Should be in place, but the training can be done on-site if necessary.)Malpractice status: (Required to disclose to obtain for temporary Privileges.)Schedule/Availability Requirements:OPEN DATES: 12/21/2024(7a)-1/1/ 2025(7a) shift time 7a-7a - (Possibly could need Provider to start in October.)Details & Deal-Breakers: Location: West Texas, North of HoustonPatients per Day: 10-15Support Staff: typical in clinic & hospital resourcesWorksite Resources: typical in clinic & hospital resourcesReason for Coverage: separation with current employed SurgeonDeal Breakers: Malpractice history, board and or license practice restrictions (Should have board and license to practice, malpractice Is case by case.)Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:Are both Thoracic and Cardiac required? yesHow many hearts/ year is the program doing? 100 possibleIs there a minimum number of heart surgeries that must be performed from a candidate proficiency perspective?
