Staffed by 35 professionals. Day shift has 5 staff per shift with a charge nurse. Night shift has 5 staff per shift with a charge nurse. Patient ratios are 1:2. Electronic Medical Records utilized are CPN & Meditech. Candidates preferred to have STABLE certification. Typical procedures performed include intubation, umbilical line placement, PICC placement, lumbar punctures, and x-rays. The ideal candidate should be family-centered, caring, and flexible. Floating areas include labor and delivery as a baby nurse and postpartum as a baby nurse. The dress code requires purple scrubs. Full-time staff are expected to work 5 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. There is no mandatory on-call requirement.
