Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Washington DC area - Field RequirementsYour Responsibilities:Identify, qualify, and develop owner-direct turnkey, retrofit, replacement, and special project opportunitiesPerform facility assessments and mechanical system evaluations to identify customer needsDevelop complete project scopes, budgets, schedules, and conceptual designsPrepare accurate estimates, cost models, gross margin analysis, and financial forecastsCollaborate with Account Managers to develop and present technical solutionsLead value engineering efforts to improve constructability, lifecycle value, and profitabilityCoordinate engineering, vendors, subcontractors, and self-perform field resourcesNegotiate subcontractor proposals and supplier pricingDevelop execution strategies maximizing self-perform labor while utilizing subcontractors strategicallyManage multiple opportunities while maintaining accurate CRM pipeline and forecastingReview customer contracts, identify commercial risks, and recommend mitigation strategiesConduct formal turnover meetings with Project Management and OperationsSupport customer meetings through project kickoff and maintain high customer satisfactionMeet annual booking, revenue, gross margin, and proposal conversion goalsFollow all company safety, quality, and compliance requirementsYour Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent HVAC/mechanical contracting experience.8+ years of progressive experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical construction, design-build, estimating, project development, or project management.Technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems, construction practices, and project delivery methods. The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $107,900.00 - $183,800.00 plus a bonus incentive plan in Maryland. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
