Bar Support / Service Bartender (Team Tip House)

Basil & Bourbon — Downtown Bolivar We’re hiring for a Bar Support / Service Bartender position in a small, fast-moving restaurant that runs on teamwork and steady systems. This is not a “stand behind the bar all night” job. Most nights, this role includes: Making cocktails + service drinks Walking drinks to tables when needed Resetting, running hands, and supporting the floor Staying aware of pacing and helping protect kitchen flow We are a pooled-tip / shared-team house, so this position is built for someone who values reliability, calm service, and being useful — not ownership or spotlight. This is a great fit if you are: Steady under pressure Naturally helpful (you don’t wait to be asked) Comfortable moving between bar + floor support Consistent on weekends (Fridays/Saturdays matter here) This is NOT a fit if you: Prefer to stay behind the bar all night Only want bar shifts when the money is best Don’t like team-tip environments Get territorial about “your” station Pay: $14–$16/hour base pay + pooled tips (team-tip house) Shifts: Most weeks are 10–18 hours (Thu/Fri/Sat) More hours possible for the right person once trained.
