Warehouse General Laborer

Job Description The Warehouse General Laborer will operate in a general merchandise warehouse environment as part of a large team. The role involves handling various warehouse operations to ensure smooth flow of inventory and shipments during day, night, and weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using barcode scanners, handheld devices, and automated sorting systems while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.Responsibilities Handle materials efficiently from receipt to shipment Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments Count inventory accurately and assist with stock replenishment Fulfill orders by picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch Operate warehouse equipment including barcode scanners and automated sorting systems Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance of the workspace Ensure accurate shipping and receiving documentationPreferred Qualifications Entry-level experience in warehouse operations Physical stamina to perform manual tasks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective time management skills Ability to work collaboratively within a large team Awareness of safety protocols and procedures
