The right person for this role is analytically strong, comfortable working across multiple initiatives at once, and confident translating complex data into clear, executive-ready insights. You are thoughtful, steady under pressure, and able to synthesize information, identify trends, and provide concise recommendations that support informed decision-making. You take pride in producing polished work and contributing to efforts that drive measurable improvement.What You Will Do Draft high-quality briefing materials for Flag Officers and Senior Executive Service (SES) members, including detailed data, contextual explanations, and executive-ready notes. Analyze data to identify trends, synthesize findings, and develop clear recommendations to inform leadership decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement process improvements. Gather and document requirements, develop solutions, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports that communicate performance metrics and progress. Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Provide insight on best business practices and conduct detailed reviews of working documents.What We Are Looking ForRequired: Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of four years of experience conducting data analysis, interpreting findings, and developing executive-level briefings to inform leadership decision-making. Experience gathering and documenting requirements and translating them into actionable recommendations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Experience analyzing data and developing dashboards or visualizations using Tableau or Power BI. Ability to synthesize complex information and present clear, concise recommendations to leadership.Desired: Experience interacting with government or private sector executives. Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Highly conscientious, detail-oriented, and organized. Persistent dedication to continuous improvement in response to evolving requirements.Clearance and Eligibility Public Trust (Tier 1) background investigation required (current or eligible). Restricted to U.S. persons as defined under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).Location Hybrid – Remote and on-site at USCG Headquarters, Washington, D.C. Required to be on site at USCG Headquarters from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for three (3) days each week. Paid parking at the employee’s expense (generally $4.45 per day) is available at the Anacostia Metro Station. A free shuttle bus from Anacostia Metro Station to USCG Headquarters is provided. Free shuttle service is also available to and from L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station.
