Licensed Practical Nurse - Staff Nurse/ Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

Responsibilities Greet patients with compassion and a friendly face Accurately assess and record patient vital signs and tests Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and treatments with adherence to safety protocols Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system, Nextgen, to document patient information accurately Prepare patients for examination Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certification as needed for patients Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked Call patients with lab/test results when needed Maintain supplies and equipment and work proactively with coworkers to ensure it is stocked. Maintain open communication with provider to ensure patients' needs are being met Ensure Health Department records are being maintained Maintain clinical area Maintain strict confidentiality at all times Experience LPN license or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant Certificate CPR certified Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others Hands-on experience with medication administration Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
