Senior Attractions & Arcade Technician (Electrical / Mechanical Lead)Location: Springfield, ILPay: $24–$28 per hour (up to $30/hour for highly qualified candidates)Job Type: Full-timeSchedule: Evenings & Weekends required; on-call for critical issuesAbout The RoleMalibu Jack’s Indoor Family Entertainment Center is looking for a Senior Attractions & Arcade Technician to lead hands-on repair and maintenance of our rides, arcade games, and attraction systems. This is not a basic maintenance job. You’ll be working on a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, and control systems—troubleshooting real technical issues, leading repairs, and helping keep our attractions running safely and reliably. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, fixing complex equipment, and being the go-to technical expert, this role is for youWhat You’ll DoDiagnose and repair electrical systems (AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, relays, power supplies, control components, low-voltage systems)Perform mechanical repairs on rides, attractions, and arcade equipmentTroubleshoot equipment failures and implement long-term fixes—not just part swapsPrioritize repairs based on safety, downtime, and guest impactLead and mentor technicians, ensuring repairs are done correctly and safelyMaintain preventative maintenance programs and service documentationEnsure attractions meet manufacturer, company, and safety standardsManage parts inventory and recommend upgrades or replacementsRespond to urgent technical issues and on-call emergenciesWhat We’re Looking ForRequired:Strong electrical troubleshooting experienceSolid mechanical repair backgroundWrap and weigh meat, poultry and seafood products for display or as ordered by customer using meat wrapping equipment and scaling devices. May operate meat slicer and cubing machine. May place meat in containers to be wrapped. May place meat or seafood on trays in display counter. May grind meat order. May clean work area. May unload meat products after delivery and stock deli meat and cheese items. May have responsibility for ordering product. May work in refrigerated area.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Take customers orders.Work in standing position for 8 hours a day.Use basic math to measure and estimate material quantities.Keep work station clean and sanitary.Lift and handle bulky materials and products.Weigh, wrap and price merchandise.Stock display cases.DESIRED, NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Use hands, arms and fingers to handle tools or operate power equipment.Receive money and make change.
