We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, organized person to be a welcoming first point of contact for customers and prospective customers, and help keep communication flowing across our team.
About the Role:
As automated support becomes more common, we believe a warm, helpful human connection still matters. At BuzzBID, customers should feel heard, welcomed, and personally supported. You’ll be that friendly first point of contact: someone who listens with genuine curiosity, asks thoughtful questions, and helps each person find the right next step. Our knowledge resources and technology support that work, while your patience, initiative, and follow-through make the experience personal. Whether you can answer a question yourself or connect someone with a specialist, you’ll help customers feel cared for throughout the process. How we work together matters just as much as how we care for customers. Our support team shares knowledge, encourages one another, and steps in when a colleague needs help. We’re looking for someone who will contribute to that supportive environment through respectful communication, dependable follow-through, openness to feedback, and a willingness to celebrate others’ successes. The ability to work harmoniously with teammates and strengthen those relationships is essential to success in this role. You’ll answer calls and inquiries, coordinate support appointments, manage customer communications, and help prospective customers explore whether BuzzBID fits their needs. You’ll capture useful details and make sure people understand what happens next. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, and takes pride in being reliable. General computer proficiency is required. You don’t need to arrive as a software expert or know HubSpot already. We’ll teach you about BuzzBID, our tools, and our processes. Technical curiosity and an eagerness to learn are welcome.
What You’ll Do:
Answer incoming calls with a warm, professional manner and respond to general inquiries by phone and email.
Listen carefully, ask useful questions, and record clear, accurate messages and support requests.

Coordinate calls, video meetings, and customer support appointments.
Provide general product and process information using established guidance.
Respond to software inquiries submitted through our website and follow up with prospective customers by phone and email.
Ask questions to understand prospects’ businesses, estimating workflows, and software needs, and help assess whether BuzzBID is a suitable fit.
Document conversations and next steps, keep lead records current, and advance qualified inquiries through the appropriate stages of our sales pipeline.
Coordinate demonstrations or further discussions with teammates, involving a product or technical specialist when a question requires additional expertise.
Follow up on outstanding requests and keep customers informed of next steps.
Share useful information with teammates and help maintain a consistent, caring customer experience.
