Project Superintendent (Eastern Kentucky)OverviewWe're partnering with a well-established, owner-led construction firm based in Eastern Kentucky to hire a Project Superintendent to lead on-site execution of ground-up commercial construction projects.This role is reporting directly to company leadership. You will own the jobsite, manage subcontractors effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.Projects are primarily commercial builds with a strong focus on K-12 school construction, typically ranging from 8 months to 2 years in duration. Superintendents are assigned one project at a time to ensure full ownership and execution.What You'll DoLead all on-site construction activities for ground-up commercial projectsOwn and manage the project schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are metCoordinate and supervise multiple subcontractors across tradesMaintain clear, consistent communication with internal leadership, clients, and subsEnsure all work is completed in compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standardsIdentify and proactively resolve field issues, delays, and coordination challengesOversee project closeout, punch list completion, and final inspectionsDrive a culture of accountability, quality, and jobsite professionalismWhat We're Looking ForProven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projectsStrong understanding of multiple trades (electrical-only backgrounds will not be a fit)Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and jobsite operations end-to-endTrack record of delivering projects on scheduleExcellent communication and leadership skills — able to run a jobsite and represent the company wellExperience with K-12 or large commercial building projects is strongly preferredAbility to work independently with minimal oversight and take full ownership of a projectSchedule & Work EnvironmentTypical schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week.Standard hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMCompany prioritizes efficiency and planning over excessive hours (no expectation of 50+ hour weeks)Compensation & BenefitsCompany truck, gas card, phone, and computer providedMedical, dental, and vision insurance (80/20 split)401(k) with matchCompany-paid life insurance ($20K)Additional voluntary benefits (accident, hospital, cancer, short-term disability)PTO + accrual structureRelocation assistance available
