Facility Operation Manager

Location: Multiple (Buffalo, Houston, San Antonio, Abernathy, Barber Lake) Relocation allowance ProvidedCompensation: $100k–$150k + equityAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Facility Operations Manager to own the performance and reliability of critical infrastructure supporting high-density GPU data centers. This role is responsible for maintaining uptime across power and cooling systems that enable AI workloads at scale.What You’ll DoAct as the senior onsite escalation point for all facility-related incidents (power, cooling, life safety systems)Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs)Manage cooling infrastructure supporting GPU clusters (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, thermal systems)Lead incident response and coordinate with engineering teams to restore uptime quicklySupport commissioning activities and ongoing reliability improvements (L1–L5)Monitor capacity and ensure infrastructure can support high-density AI workloadsEnforce safety and compliance standards (OSHA, LOTO, NFPA)What We’re Looking ForExperience operating mission-critical infrastructure in data centers or similar environmentsStrong knowledge of redundancy models (N+1, 2N, concurrent maintainability)Hands-on experience with power and cooling systems in high-availability environmentsAbility to own incidents and operate in a 24/7, always-on environmentExposure to GPU data centers or high-density compute environments is a strong plus
