The agency is committed to long-term relationships built on integrity, expertise, and consistent client support.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Personal Lines Insurance Agent role based in Camden, SC. The Personal Lines Insurance Agent will meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their personal insurance needs, including auto, home, renters, and other personal lines coverages. Daily responsibilities include preparing quotes, presenting policy options, processing new applications, and handling renewals, endorsements, and policy changes in a timely and accurate manner. The agent will respond to client inquiries, provide guidance on coverage and claims processes, and maintain detailed records in agency management systems. The role also involves proactive follow-up, cross-selling additional lines where appropriate, and collaborating with carriers and internal team members to ensure smooth service and strong client retention.Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales and Personal Lines Insurance, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and ethically guide purchasing decisions.Experience or familiarity with Insurance Brokerage environments and working with multiple carriers to compare products and pricing.Basic understanding of Finance concepts as they relate to premiums, deductibles, and risk, and the ability to discuss these confidently with clients.Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and professional written and verbal communication.Current Property & Casualty insurance license for South Carolina (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).Comfort using agency management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software to manage client information and documentation.Proven ability to work on-site in a team-oriented environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize client needs effectively.Previous experience in personal lines insurance, banking, or a related financial services field is preferred but not required.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
