Case Manager/Assistant Housing Manager
Primary duties, include case management of clients to attain permanent housing, assisting with the administration of the shelter, and coverage for Housing Manager when not present.
Case Management Duties include: Meeting with clients to determine a plan, follow up on previous action items, and providing resources to overcome obstacles. Prior work in human services a must.
Administration of shelter duties include taking call three days a week and being able to fill vacancies when call-ins occur, monitoring and coaching of staff, assisting with the performance evaluation process, computer abilities, filing, keeping shelter organized, answering questions and dealing with issues as they arise, and assuring a smooth functioning of the intake shift.
Coverage for Housing Manager duties include assisting with hiring, scheduling, payroll, and training.
