Co-Ed Soccer Coach - Plano Middle School for the Fall 2026 seasonSuccessful Candidate Will Provide a program to develop skills and strength Maintain and is timely with appropriate management and paperwork requirements for things such as eligibility, registration, match scores, records, etc. Cooperate with the athletic and school administration to provide a quality Athletic experience for all athletes Provide proper supervision and administration of locker room, training room, and bus trips Maximize practice time for both individual and team development Develop a well organized practice schedule which utilizes their staff at all levels Develop a well-defined academic plan for all students to increase academic performance Participate in purple/white night, banquets and recognizes athletes for their accomplishments Be concerned about the care of equipment, including issuance, collection, inventory, and storage Communicate with administration about athletic equipment requests, budget needs, unusual events, etc. Follow proper district procedure for the purchase of equipment and operates within the budget Attend all-conference meetings and stays in compliance with IHSA requests Maintains communication with feeder coaches, programs, parents, athletes, and the bus barn both within and outside the season.PEL or certified coach, ASEP certification or substitute certification required.For further information please contact Jim Schmidt, Plano Middle School Athletics and Activities Coordinator, at jschmidt@plano88.orgDistrict Mission StatementThe Mission of Plano School District is to empower and inspire our diverse student body to achieve academic excellence, experience personal growth, and make positive contributions to society.District Vision StatementStudents – Our students will think critically, persevere, and contribute productively to society.Families & Community – Our family and community members are partners in the educational process and will support the fundamental Mission of the District.Educators – Our educators have unwavering high expectations, believe in students, demonstrate a growth mindset, and foster a collaborative environment.Online application required.
