In this role, you will provide meaningful, person‑centered experiences for residents living with memory loss, working collaboratively under the guidance of the Life Enrichment Director.Our community is faith‑based and open to all, and we are dedicated to supporting dignity, comfort, and joy for each resident through thoughtfully designed enrichment experiences.What You’ll DoPlan and lead purposeful, dementia‑appropriate activities that support emotional well‑being and quality of lifeFacilitate engaging experiences through music, art, sensory activities, movement, reminiscence, games, and storytellingCreate calm, welcoming environments that encourage participation and reduce anxietyBuild trusting, meaningful relationships by honoring each resident’s life story, abilities, and preferencesCollaborate closely with the Life Enrichment team and Memory Care staff to support residents holisticallyAdapt activities in the moment with patience, creativity, and empathyWho You AreCompassionate, patient, and deeply people‑centeredCreative and flexible—able to meet residents where they areA self‑starter who thrives as part of a collaborative care teamComfortable working in a faith‑based environment that warmly welcomes allPassionate about serving older adults, especially those living with dementiaExperience in Memory Care, dementia support, or life enrichment is a plus—but a caring heart, creativity, and willingness to learn matter mostWhy This Role MattersIn Memory Care, moments matter. This role is about more than activities; it’s about creating meaningful moments of comfort, joy, and belonging.If you feel called to serve seniors with empathy, creativity, and purpose, we would love to meet you.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:inimum of an Associated DegreeMinimum of 1 year of experience working with seniorsExperieMnce desired in activities and wellness programs with seniors.Must be able to work independently, communicating summaries of tasks anddecisions.Must be able to deal tactfully and pleasantly with staff, residents, family members,visitors, entertainers and travel agents.Must have effective interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to speak effectively before large groups.Must be able to project professionalism, cheerfulness and enthusiasm at all times.Part time work week must be willing to flex hours as able when necessary. Be able to apply common sense and understand when dealing with problems presenting several variables and be able to apply appropriate alternatives utilizing supervisor appropriately.
