The Nanny / Childcare Caregiver is responsible for providing attentive and compassionate care to children in the home setting. Caregivers will assist with daily routines, supervision, age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment while following each family's individualized care plan.This role requires professionalism, flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to respond calmly and appropriately in a variety of situations.Essential ResponsibilitiesChildcare & SupervisionProvide attentive and responsible care for children ranging from infants to middle school ageSupervise children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and routinesEncourage age-appropriate learning, engagement, and positive interactionMaintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all timesCommunication & DocumentationFollow and complete all tasks outlined in the child's care planDocument care provided, time, attendance, and other required information accuratelyCommunicate effectively with parents, guardians, and agency staffReport any concerns, behavioral changes, injuries, or incidents promptly to the Director of Nursing or supervising staffSafety & ProfessionalismAdhere to agency policies, procedures, and childcare safety standardsRespond quickly and appropriately in emergency situationsArrive on time and prepared for scheduled shiftsSubmit shift availability at least two weeks in advanceMaintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude while working with familiesQualificationsPositive attitude and caring personalityPrevious childcare, nanny, babysitting, or caregiving experience preferredCurrent TB Test and CPR Certification(Guidance will be provided for obtaining both if needed.)Reliable transportationOutstanding communication skills and empathy toward children and familiesAbility to maintain professionalism and reliabilityClean background checkBenefitsFlexible per diem scheduling based on your availabilityCompetitive payWeekly direct deposit401(k) retirement planOngoing training and supportOpportunity to work with a trusted and respected home care agencyAll offers of employment are contingent on passing a background and drug screen.
