Job Title: X-Ray Inspection 2nd Shift (3:00pm- 11:30pm)Location: Seymour, CTPay: $24 per hour Temp to permPosition SummaryWe are seeking a skilled 5DX Operator to operate and maintain 5D X-ray inspection equipment in a high-tech electronics manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to ensure high-quality standards throughout the production process. The operator will work closely with production leads and quality teams to inspect electronic assemblies for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate 5D X-ray inspection equipment to analyze electronic assemblies for defectsIdentify and document quality issues, including solder joint and component anomaliesWork closely with production and quality teams to resolve defects and improve processesMaintain inspection logs and provide accurate reporting on findingsFollow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelinesSupport continuous improvement initiatives and maintain equipment calibrationEnsure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work areaQualificationsPrevious experience operating 5D X-ray or similar inspection equipment preferredKnowledge of electronics assembly processes and component identificationStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to follow detailed work instructions and standard proceduresComfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plusHave Electronics Manufacturing background ( PCB or SMT background would be a plus)Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work ( License and car ideally)Physical RequirementsFrequent standing and walkingAbility to use hands for precise manipulation of small componentsGood vision and depth perception, including the ability to distinguish colors and fine detailsWork EnvironmentElectronics manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery and moderate noiseCompliance with safety standards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) requiredPay Details: $24.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
