This role may include food preparation, barista duties, cashiering, serving, and inventory management.What You'll Work On:Food Preparation & ServicePrepare and assemble menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelinesServe food courteously and efficiently in a corporate dining or café settingAssist with catering setups and breakdowns for meetings and events as neededBarista & Beverage ServicePrepare coffee, espresso-based drinks, and specialty beveragesOperate espresso machines and other beverage equipment safely and properlyMaintain a clean and stocked beverage stationCashiering & Customer ServiceOperate point-of-sale (POS) systems accuratelyHandle cash, credit, and mobile transactions following company proceduresProvide friendly, professional service to employees and guestsAddress customer questions or concerns promptly and professionallyInventory & Stock ManagementAssist with receiving, stocking, and rotating food and supply inventoryMonitor product levels and communicate restocking needsHelp minimize waste through proper storage and inventory practicesSanitation & SafetyMaintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipmentFollow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standardsComply with local health department regulations and company policiesRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalant preferredPrevious food service, cafeteria, café, or barista experience preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentBasic math skills and comfort using POS systemsKnowledge of food safety practices (ServSafe certification a plus)Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 30-40 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, and reach as required for food service tasksLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.com (http://www.abbottbenefits.com/pages/candidate.aspx)Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
