Ping Fed Developer / Ping Fed Engineer

Overview In this role you will help replace and modernize the IAM/customer authentication solution alongside a cross-functional Agile team. You will work on Ping Identity integration, UI components in React, and Java backend services to support authentication and identity workflows. You will ensure secure, scalable sign-on experiences across web and app surfaces, collaborating with product, architecture, QA, security, and delivery teams. This is an opportunity to shape a security-centric identity platform at scale and drive production readiness from development through post-launch stabilization. ResponsibilitiesConfigure and integrate Ping Identity components to support authentication flows, SSO, MFA, federation, and session managementDevelop and enhance React-based mobile web sign-on UI components for secure customer authenticationBuild and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs for authentication, authorization, token validation, and identity workflowsIntegrate authentication services with enterprise systems, APIs, directories, and downstream applicationsSupport migration from the existing IAM solution to the new platformEnsure mobile web sign-on works through an app wrapper with no native mobile UI in scopeImplement secure coding practices across UI and backend, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and secure sessionsParticipate in unit/integration testing, code reviews, defect triage, and performance tuningSupport deployment, cutover, production readiness, and post-launch stabilizationCollaborate with product, architecture, QA, security, and delivery teams in an Agile environment Key requirementsPing Identity integration experienceReact-based UI developmentJava backend services and APIsExperience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWTSecure session handlingAgile delivery environmentTesting, code reviews, and performance tuningcollaborationcross-functional communicationproblem-solvingPing IdentityReactJava
