Speech-Language Pathology/ Assistant
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)Location: Atlanta, GA (In-person and Teletherapy)Job Summary:Speech Glam Speech and Language Therapy Services, LLC is looking for passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will provide direct speech and language therapy services to children, working collaboratively with caregivers, educators, and other professionals. SLPs will develop individualized treatment plans and supervise SLPAs, while SLPAs will assist in implementing therapy activities under the guidance of an SLP.Responsibilities:For SLPs: • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess communication disorders in children. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. • Provide direct therapy to children in various settings (in-person and teletherapy). • Supervise and collaborate with SLPAs, providing guidance and support. • Maintain detailed and accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy goals. • Communicate progress and therapy updates with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.For SLPAs: • Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP. • Implement therapy activities as outlined in the treatment plan. • Assist with evaluations by gathering data and documenting client progress. • Prepare therapy materials and activities for therapy sessions. • Maintain accurate records and session documentation. • Collaborate with the supervising SLP and communicate with caregivers and professionals as needed.Qualifications:For SLPs: • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. • Current SLP license in the state of Georgia. • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. • Experience working with pediatric populations in clinical or school settings. • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.For SLPAs: • Associate’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (or related field). • Current SLPA license in the state of Georgia. • Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings. • Ability to work independently under supervision and follow instructions.Benefits: • Competitive compensation (salary or hourly, depending on position). • Flexible work schedule (full-time or part-time). • Professional development opportunities and continuing education support. • Collaborative and supportive team environment. • Opportunity for career growth within the organization.
