Senior Cloud Backend Engineer | San Jose | $225K–$250K + Bonus + EquityWe're hiring a Senior Cloud Backend Engineer for a $125M funded AI cybersecurity company, with founders who have previous successful exits in the space.What you'll do:Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native backend systems and data pipelinesLead technical delivery from architecture and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and operationsPartner with product and design teams to deliver performant, reliable backend services and APIsChampion best practices across CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and test automationEnsure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of backend and cloud systemsFoster a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvementWhat we're looking for:Deep experience in Python and AWS or AzureStrong background in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and scalable API designProactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for solving complex problemsExperience leading technical delivery across the full software lifecycle
