Hiring for Construction SuperintendentRole OverviewThis is a traveling Construction Superintendent role responsible for leading large-scale commercial/industrial construction projects from start to finish—planning, execution, coordination, and delivery.You'd act as the on-site leader managing craft teams, subcontractors, schedules, safety, and budgets across multiple disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, etc.).Location & TravelBased anywhere in the U.S.70%+ travel required to project sitesLong-term, project-to-project assignment modelCore ResponsibilitiesYou would be expected to:1. Project ExecutionPlan construction methods, manpower, materials, equipmentEnsure work follows drawings, specs, and schedule2. Field LeadershipSupervise multiple trade groups (electricians, carpenters, boilermakers, etc.)Coordinate subcontractors and resolve on-site issuesMaintain strong communication with unions and crews3. Scheduling & ControlsTrack progress, adjust schedules, manage delaysSupport cost control and project reporting4. Safety & ComplianceEnforce safety programs and corrective actionsEnsure compliance with regulations and quality standards5. Stakeholder CommunicationCoordinate with clients, executives, vendors, and internal teams6.
