Senior Process Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Processing Engineer with extensive experience in injection molding, blow molding, and reheat stretch molding to support a high-speed plastics manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for optimizing processes, improving efficiency, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting new product launches while ensuring the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Optimize molding processes to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and increase efficiency.
Troubleshoot processing issues and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis.
Support new product introductions and process validation.
Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to maximize equipment performance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Develop process documentation and train production personnel on best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
8–10+ years of plastics processing experience.
Strong experience with injection molding, blow molding, and PET, PP, and HDPE processing.
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
RJG Master Molder certification preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with regular time on the production floor and occasional travel as needed.
