DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the forming of sheet metal aluminum parts utilizing a Brake press per Customers engineering drawings and specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verify tooling and all engineering drawings before manufacturing part
Load machine with work pieces
Perform visual inspection of part and traveler
Confirm profile, pilot holes and cut outs are to Customer drawing
Verify accuracy of job/workmanship when performing job
Maintain specifications by observing operations
Adhere to all quality assurance procedures and processes
Maintain specifications by trouble shooting processes, detecting malfunctions and taking measurements
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for all new and different requests
Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two years operating a CNC Brake Press and/or Manual brake in a manufacturing setting
Ability to read blueprints and decipher drawings
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
Must have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime when needed
Ability to read, write and understand English
Proficient in blue print reading
Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers, protractors, height gages and radius gage sets
Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
Strong communication and problem solving skills
