BayCare Medical Group, the largest and most respected physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking an Advanced Endoscopist to join a growing and well-established team of four Gastroenterologists based at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to expand and enhance GI services, with a particular focus on advancing endoscopic capabilities, including Endoscopic Ultrasound. The ideal candidate will play a key role in further developing advanced procedural offerings while collaborating in a collegial, patient-centered environment.
Highlights of this opportunity include
Completion of an accredited Advanced Gastroenterology Fellowship is required.
Inpatient call would be 15, rotated equally. Procedures and inpatient consults are performed at one hospital – St. Joseph's Main Hospital, a 550-bed Level 2 Trauma Center and Tampa’s only top-rated hospital named one of America’s best for five years in a row.
Close collaboration with Hepatobiliary Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, and Interventional Radiology.
Excellent system support and referral base – incoming physician will gain an established patient base in no time.

Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Advanced Gastroenterology Fellowship.
Board eligibility/board certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology.
Ability to obtain a Florida Medical license.
