Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

ProTrade is seeking a skilled and motivated Planet Maintenance Technician to oversee new construction and installations, as well as maintain the facility and all related equipment. This role plays a vital part in keeping operations running smoothly, efficiently, and safely through preventative and predictive maintenance and hands-on leadership.Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.Job Summary:This position is responsible for supervising new equipment installations and facility construction projects while ensuring ongoing maintenance of the building, systems, and equipment. You will coordinate with contractors, maintain inventory, manage repair schedules, and support continuous operations with minimal downtime.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Troubleshoot issues with facility infrastructure and equipmentRecommend and requisition repairs or replacements as neededCoordinate and supervise installations and repairs involving electrical, gas, water, air, and sewer systemsWork with contractors to expedite projects and avoid production delaysSource competitive quotes from trusted vendors for parts and servicesAssist in training staff on safe and proper use of facility equipmentMaintain a comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance programKeep an organized inventory of spare parts and maintenance suppliesOversee and manage the maintenance team schedule and assignmentsJob Requirements:Physically capable of performing tasks including standing, lifting, and operating equipmentStrong team player with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated xaygatp and able to work independently with minimal supervisionMust follow safety standards and work comfortably with multiple tools and systemsWilling to perform any duties as assigned by leadership, including the Director of Manufacturing, Plant Superintendent, VP of Operations, or Production SupervisorMandatory Qualifications:Associate’s Degree in Maintenance or a related technical field (minimum two years)At least 2 years of supervisory experience in maintenance, facilities, or equipment installation
