DEA Nurse Onsite - (Springhill, FL) Full Time Required Skills Perform initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations Advise patients regarding treatment plans and prescription medication instructions Obtain and record a detailed medical history of each patient Analyze reports, test results, and/or personal examinations to diagnose and formulate treatment plans Demonstrate integrity, care, and compassion while working with patients, families, and staff Provide accurate ICD-10/CPT codes and documentation in a timely manner Maintain confidentiality of all patients’ records Assist supervising physicians Maintain requirements for continuing medical education Perform other duties that align with exceptional patient care In addition to these duties, our Nurse Practitioners also remain compliant with all Federal and State regulations and agree to abide by any and all policies and procedures as set forth by the governing body If you’re big on COMPLIANCE, QUALITY, EVIDENCE-BASED MEDICINE, & PATIENT ENGAGEMENT and meet the following requirements Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent from an accredited school Certificates and Licenses: State License Valid NCCPA certification Current License DEA All APRNs must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. APRNs must also respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients, regulatory agencies, or other members of the business community. APRNS must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, as well as the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and employ mathematical skills to prescribe medications. This position requires basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
