We have a commitment to understand, define, and deliver what our guests want and represent our company by being professional and courteous to all.ResponsibilitiesGreets and interacts with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive mannerHandles complaints and difficult situations in a calm and patient mannerResponsible for sharing up to date information on relevant sporting events with guestsCommunicate and promote our menu of sports, race & keno betting options to customersAccepts, verifies and writes sports, race & keno tickets for customersKnowledge of all sporting events and teams that can be wagered in the SportsbookMaintains accurate ticket and cash transactionsFollows all department and casino policies, procedures, and regulations as requiredParticipates in special events, promotions and tournaments as requestedAssists with other departments when neededHelp to create a fun and consistent working environment for the teamHas the drive and enthusiasm for own developmentEnsures high standards, shows initiative, proactivity and professionalismAbility to follow procedures correctlyEnsures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulationsWork nights, weekends and holidays as requiredPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsExceptional guest service skills requiredMinimum of 6 months prior experience working with the public in a cash-handling environment is requiredProven ability to handle cash accurately is requiredPrior experience as a Sports Book Writing is preferredCertificates, Licenses, RegulationsMust be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/III gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington StatePhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentConstantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
