Treatments will be provided to patients in areas such as critical care, medical and surgical units and outpatient for rehabilitation needs ranging from cerebrovascular accidents to joint replacements.ResponsibilitiesPerform evaluations and establish treatment goalsUtilize techniques and modalities necessary to provide competent physical therapy servicesIntegrate physical therapy treatments with other aspects of patient careDocument progress toward established goals utilizing the electronic medical recordAssist with discharge planning and the education of patients and familiesProvide direction and supervision to Physical Therapy AssistantsRequirementsGraduate of an accredited school of physical therapyEligible for or hold Physical Therapist licensure in the state of OhioFollow the laws of the Ohio revised code for the practice of physical therapyFollow all policies and proceduresEnsure personal performance reflects the LMHS mission, vision and standards of CARELMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.Licking Memorial Health Systems is an equal opportunity employer and maintains compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations.
