You'll work on various database-driven projects, ensuring optimal performance and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.Analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance.Support software installation and deployment across environments.Participate in testing and quality assurance processes.Provide consultation on complex projects, leveraging your database expertise.Stay updated on PL/SQL and database technologies, recommending improvements.Create comprehensive technical documentation.Collaborate with software developers, DBAs, and business analysts.Promote best practices in coding and database management.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience8+ years in system analysis, design, and application implementation.Hands-on experience in the full development life cycle using Oracle technologies (PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle 10g/11g).Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.Experience with Oracle 10g/11g, Oracle Advanced Queueing, and database design.Familiarity with JSON, XML Query Language, and Oracle tools (SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, TOAD).Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsOracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.Experience with cloud databases (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
