From trucks to vans to cars of all sizes, the Car Sales Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing vehicles. The Detailer will be responsible for maintaining vehicles after a test drive, delivery vehicles, and after recon work has been done.
Responsibilities:
The Car Sales Automotive Detailer / Lot Tech will clean the interior, exterior and refurbish used vehicles to prepare for sale, as well as help maintain the appearance of the lot. This employee will exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform and personal protective equipment requirements while adhering to local environmental regulations.
Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
Polish, wax and buff exterior of vehicles, which might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
Vacuum interior, floor, seats, ashtray and trunk
Shampoo/Clean carpets, floor mats and upholstery
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
Apply engine degreaser application to the engine
Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies
Exhibit a professional appearance
Adhere to local environmental regulations
Automotive Lot Tech
Moving vehicles between locations
Picking up and delivering parts
Arranging vehicles on lot
Maintaining lot appearance
Additional Responsibilities
Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
