Senior Software Engineer

Be part of the founding engineering team at a real-estate tech startup out of MIT that is going to disrupt the long-term rental market. We are modernizing the process of validating, browsing, visiting, and renting apartments - starting in Boston. This is a full-time, on-site, role at our office in downtown Danvers, MA. forREAL is looking for an experienced software engineer who brings fresh ideas from all areas, including distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day.As part of the founding engineer team, you'll:Develop products from 0 -1 with high velocity features on mobile and webIdeating, design, and deliver feature from end to endEssential QualificationsMinimum 4 years of industry experience in software engineering.Bachelors degree in CS.Strong knowledge developing in React/ Next.js.Strong knowledge developing in Django.Strong Knowledge developing in SwiftUI iOS.Strong knowledge writing testable code, and testing using PyTest.Experience with Azure cloud service platform.Experience with CI/CD pipeline.Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWilling to work onsite in our office in Danvers, MA.Desired Attributes:Incredibly proud of the code you write and advocate for high standardsPassion: Startups are not easy!!
