The ideal candidatewill be responsible for ensuring optimal functionality of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning unitsthrough timely repairs, and regular maintenance. This role requires a keen eye for detail and acommitment to providing high-quality service to ensure the comfort and safety of our clients.Action and Responsibilities: This position performs service, repair, maintenance and some installation on HVAC systems in a residential and light commercial settingDetermines general condition of HVAC systems, and can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions and determine extent of necessary repairsRepair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiringFabricate, assemble, and install duct work and piping according to specifications and codeWire and connect motors, compressors, temperature controls, and humidity controls according to wiring schematicsRelocate and expand existing HVAC systems as neededMaintain refrigerant dispensing records to meet federal requirementsServices residential and light commercial HVAC systemsPersonal Attributes:Demonstrate high standards of personal integrity and excellent interpersonal skillsOrganized and detail oriented, with thorough follow throughAbility to analyze and solve problems efficientlyQualifications:Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniquesTwo to Four years of experience or Air Conditioning Certificate xaygatp from trade schoolValid driver's license and insurable driving recordMust pass drug screen and background checkEPA CertificationTDLR LicensePossess required toolsAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprintsBe familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniquesPhysical Demands:Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each jobConveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
