Master Production Scheduler
Master Scheduler - $75k-$90k/annually DOE!This position is a direct hire opportunity!Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Master Scheduler for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $75k-$90k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!Responsibilities:The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining the master production schedule in alignment with the Sales, Inventory, and Operations (SIOP) plan. This role collaborates closely with operations leadership, material planners, production planners, and cross-functional teams to coordinate production activities that support customer service goals, efficient use of capacity and resources, and effective inventory management.This position plays a critical role in balancing supply and demand, optimizing inventory levels, and minimizing the impact of demand variability. The Master Scheduler will also lead the development and continuous improvement of scheduling processes within a complex CNC manufacturing environment where formal scheduling practices may be evolving.Translate demand forecasts by product family into a detailed weekly master production schedule (MPS) with an 8–12 month planning horizon to support MRP processes.Integrate intercompany demand and backlog into the SIOP supply planning process to ensure adequate capacity and resource allocation.Review and adjust fulfillment and planning strategies for all parts on a quarterly basis.Monitor and resolve MRP system errors and exceptions in a timely manner.Support customer service by analyzing exception requests and expediting solutions.Develop and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and inventory levels.Serve as a subject matter expert for production planning and scheduling systems and processes.Identify and resolve constraints related to capacity, resources, and materials.Lead long-term capacity planning (RCCP) and develop action plans to address gaps.Conduct lead-time analysis, identify variances, and implement corrective actions while maintaining accurate lead-time data.Analyze and report key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, backlog, schedule performance, and inventory turnover.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and challenge existing processes where improvements are possible.Manage MRP-generated exception messages and ensure timely resolution.Maintain data accuracy within ERP systems, including planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, safety stock levels, and order data.Design and implement finite-capacity scheduling processes that account for machine availability, setup times, labor, and other constraints.Provide training on master production scheduling processes and best practices.Location: Alsip, ILSchedule/Shift Details: First ShiftQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in forecasting, master scheduling, shipment planning, and inventory management.Minimum of 3 years of experience in both rate-based or flow-line and CNC job shop manufacturing environments.At least 3 years of experience in operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing.Minimum of 3 years of experience working with visual management systems.At least 1 year of experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.APICS CPIM certification or willingness to obtain certification within 18 months.Core CompetenciesAbility to make complex decisions with limited time and information, using sound prioritization.Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Advanced analytical skills, including familiarity with basic statistical methods.Effective interpersonal skills, independent problem-solving ability, and demonstrated leadership.Comfortable leading discussions and influencing peers, cross-functional partners, and leadership.Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data tools.Benefits:Our benefits package is built to support your overall well-being and give you the resources needed to manage your health with confidence.
