Strong experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and enterprise-grade development best practices. Hands-on experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, including writing optimized queries, indexes, and tuning performance. Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures, including EMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-based queueing systems. Comfort working in cloud environments, especially AWS or Azure, using cloud-native services for compute, storage, integrations, and monitoring. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues across the application stack quickly. Ability to support production environments, including on call rotations, incident triage, monitoring, and ensuring system reliability. Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and automated test frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest). Ability to implement secure coding practices and remediate vulnerabilities identified by security scanning tools, including Fortify, Checkmarx, and 42Crunch. Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating closely with product owners, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams.
