Love your job.We can't predict what the future holds, but we know Texas Instruments will have a part in shaping it.We’re seeking an exceptional Senior Cybersecurity Architect to serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert driving enterprise-wide security architecture initiatives. This role combines deep hands-on architecture work with technical leadership and mentorship. You’ll lead transformational programs like Zero Trust Architecture while elevating the capabilities of our engineering teams through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving.This is an individual contributor role for someone who wants to work in some of the most complex technical domains solving challenges while shaping the next generation of security talent.Responsibilities This Architect Will OwnLead design and implementation of key enterprise strategies such as Zero Trust Architecture across all security pillars: identity, device, network, application, and data protectionDevelop and maintain comprehensive security architecture patterns, reference architectures, and design standardsConduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews for critical systems, applications, and infrastructure changesDesign security solutions that balance business requirements, risk tolerance, and operational feasibilityTranslate security requirements from compliance frameworks and business needs into actionable technical architecturesEvaluate and architect integration of security technologies across the enterprise stackLead complex technical investigations and provide authoritative guidance on security architecture decisionsCollaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and development teams to embed security into solution designsDrive innovation in security architecture through research, proof-of-concepts, and adoption of emerging technologiesMentor junior and mid-level security engineers and architects in security design principles, threat modeling methodologies, and architecture best practicesProvide technical coaching through architecture reviews, design discussions, and hands-on problem solvingHelp foster a culture of technical excellence through knowledge sharing, documentation, and peer learningServe as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert for complex security challengesDrive AI-augmented security assessments — leveraging AI tooling to accelerate architecture reviews, threat discovery, and pattern analysisResearch emerging attack surfaces and translate findings into architecture improvements and control updatesDemonstrated experience treating security architecture as an engineering discipline — measurable process improvement, automation, and tooling ownershipWhat Will Set You ApartExperience with OT/ICS security architecture and industrial control systems security frameworksBackground in semiconductor manufacturing, critical infrastructure, or highly regulated industriesExperience with security architecture in hybrid cloud environmentsContributions to security communities: published research, conference presentations, open-source security projectsDemonstrated use of AI/LLM tools in security engineering workflows (threat modeling, code review, policy generation)Familiarity with AI security engineering concepts: prompt injection, model risk, agentic attack surfaces, OWASP LLM Top 10QualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or related technical field8+ years of experience in security architecture Demonstrated experience leading threat modeling activities for complex, multi-domain enterprise systems, including data flow analysis, trust boundary mapping, and application of methodologies such as STRIDE and PASTAPreferred QualificationsKey cybersecurity certifications (E.g., CISSP, GIAC GDSA, SABSA, CCSP, etc.)Demonstrate commitment to high standards of ethics and values, regulatory compliance, and business integrityAbility to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externallyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processesDemonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryAbout UsWhy TI?Engineer your future.
