Community Health Worker

General Job Description: Responsible for service coordination and outreach services to patients • Provide intensive home visitation services for pregnant and parenting families • Promote the health and well-being of clients by informing potential consumers about available services • Provide transportation services to patients of Ben Archer Health Centers when appropriate and available • High School graduate or GED is required; college degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Development, Marriage and Family Counseling, Infant Family Studies or a related field is preferred • Two years community outreach experience in a social services function and experience with the early childhood population is preferred • Must have current NM Driver’s License and a clean driving record • Must pass a background check • Ability to speak English and Spanish is preferred • Maintains appropriate confidentiality • Must possess and maintain a clean driving record Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $13.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Language: Bilingual (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Alamogordo, NM 88310: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
