As a Client Service Associate on one of our largest teams, you will learn the Registered Investment Advisor industry from the ground up and have multiple career paths to choose from.This position is located in Portland with working hours from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. We have a hybrid work environment with the ability to work from home on Fridays.Arnerich Massena was founded in 1991 and specialized in providing portfolio management, investment advisory, and family office services for high-net-worth individuals, families, endowments, and foundations. The company was known for investing with vision, passion, and purpose, with a focus on both client service and community commitment. In July 2024, Arnerich Massena merged with Coldstream. Located in NE Portland, the team is now adding a CSA position.Specific responsibilities include: Prepare and process documentation related to client onboarding and maintenance:Open brokerage accounts, establish cashiering needs, set up online reporting accessUpdate cost basis, track required minimum distributions, reconcile account informationSend and receive documents to and from clients, their advisors, and investment custodiansLog all activities in the firm’s CRM in a timely and accurate manner.Serve as a liaison between clients and custodians/investment managers, including managing client information and handling all cashiering and money movement requestsPerform client and prospect data entry in the firm’s CRM. Ensure data accuracy and integrity and keep records current on existing and prospective clients.May prepare or oversee the preparation of various deliverables which directly support client service and acquisition such as portfolio review packets, greeting letters, presentation books, service agreements and compliance materials.Coordinate with clients, custodians, and investment managers to provide annual audit confirmations, audited financials, and any additional information as requested by auditors.May perform calendaring functions with both internal teams and external clients, prospects and COIs.Experience And Skills3 + years of client service experience in the wealth management industry and an interest in building a career in wealth managementCustomer service experience and the desire to provide superior client service in a team-oriented environmentFINRA Series 65 license is strongly preferred - or the willingness to obtain it within 6-12 months at the cost of Coldstream (career development benefit we offer)Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with Charles Schwab is preferred; experience with Salesforce CRM and/or Tamarac portfolio accounting (or similar systems) is a plusExperience with alternative investments is highly preferredExcellent communication skills, including writing business correspondence with proper grammar and punctuationStrong organizational skills and the ability to follow established processes consistentlyStrong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independentlyA Bachelor’s degree is preferredJob BenefitsIn terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team.
